The National Association of Realtors has hired its first social media manager.

Todd Carpenter founded Bizomi Consulting – which helps real estate and mortgage professionals better market themselves using new media – and Mariah.com, a network of real estate and mortgage industry blogs, tools, and web sites including Lenderama, Rembex, and Denver Modern Homes.

Carpenter will be leaving those businesses to head up NAR’s new social media efforts
