Monster powers Microsoft Office career center

Monster is powering a new career center on Microsoft Office Online. Besides an ability to search Monster from the Office site, users can also read career tips and download Office-compatible templates for resume-building.

“More than ever, a strong resume that makes a positive first impression is key to landing that first internship or finding a great job,” said Justin Hutchinson, director of product management, Microsoft Office. “By partnering with Monster.com we are giving Office customers the resources to build strong resumes while also streamlining the process of finding and applying for new jobs. With these tools, we aim to give people an even better chance at finding the career they want.”

“This is an innovative alliance among two global leaders,” said Ted Gilvar, EVP and chief global marketing officer, Monster.com. “Microsoft Office Online customers now have easy access to Monster’s jobs, tools and career content; and Monster extends its reach to the people who downloaded more than 18 million career-related templates through Office Online last year alone.”
