TweetMyJobs provides custom-branding service to recruiters

Charlotte, N.C.-based TweetMyJobs is offering a new service to help companies with social-media recruiting. The feature is called TweetMark and enables companies to provide their logo and other relevant branding information on a custom Twitter job channel.

“Many companies are struggling with brand recognition when posting jobs, because they have to work within the character limitations of Twitter tweets,” said Gary Zukowski, TweetMyJobs founder. Tweets are basically SMS messages, limited to 140 characters.

“This new service allows companies to get the needed information to job candidates while also promoting their brand and presence on Twitter.”

The service works with companies to determine what graphic would be best to include and automatically includes the image in all postings sent to job-seekers.  While a logo is the most obvious choice, TweetMyJobs will help determine a strategy that will best help companies “make their mark” on Twitter, Zukowski said.

“One hundred forty characters is not a lot,”  Zukowski said.  “But as they say, a picture says a thousand words. We want to help companies with their overall social media strategy and promote their brand as well.”

TweetMyJobs presents more than 4,500 channels on which recruiters can broadcast jobs that are location- and industry-specific.
