Texas-based Beneficial Innovations is suing 10 Internet companies including CareerBuilder.com, for infringement on a patent it filed for a “Networking System for Presenting Advertising.

Other defendants named in the suit are CNET Networks, Digg, Ebaum’s World, Google, Jabez Networks, Morris Communications, The New York Times Co., Yahoo and YouTube.

Beneficial seeks injunctive relief, compensatory damages and trebled damages, costs, interest, attorneys’ fees and other relief.
