ForRent.com has become the sole content provider of apartment rental properties on Homes.com. The move isn’t surprising: both companies are owned by Dominion Enterprises. But it makes sense: in the current economy, home seekers may change their plans and look for an apartment to rent instead of a home to buy.

Homes.com attracted nearly 2.3 million unique visitors in April 2009 according to ComScore.

Rentals can be found on Homes.com by clicking the “rentals” tab. Rental listings include apartment descriptions, online videos, photos, floor plans, and interactive maps.
