Chip Perry, President, CEO and first employee of AutoTrader.com, was honored by the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association at NIADA’s annual convention in Orlando June 23-27. The 2009 Ring of Honor recognition is the allied industry’s highest for an individual.

“Chip Perry is truly a friend of our association and its members,” said Michael Linn, NIADA CEO, in giving the award. A pioneer in the automotive industry, Perry’s AutoTrader career began after leaving his Los Angeles Times Vice Presidency in 1997.
