More change in self-serve advertising universe
AdLizard, which has provided self-serve print advertising technology for more than a decade, is now entering the self-serve online advertising fray. Meanwhile, Impact Engine, another self-serve online advertising provider, announced the addition of special holiday advertising templates.
AdLizard, an Australian company founded in 1998, said its new “AdLizard for Web” provides a simple workflow for Flash banner creation, audience targeting and reporting, providing an accessible and low cost entry to online advertising with measurable results. The company said AdLizard for Web can be used by both publishers and advertising agencies to give their clients easy ways to create their own online advertisements.
The system allows advertisers to incorporate digital content from their print ads and preview multiple ad templates at the same time. It also includes a reporting, optimization and measurement campaign module.
In another self-serve advertising announcement, San Diego-based Impact Engine, said it has created a series of holiday advertising templates for its clients. Impact Engine provides tools to publishers, advertisers and agencies that allow them to create Flash-based online advertisements. The company’s templates are compliant with Internet Advertising Bureau standards as well as Yahoo! APT standards.
Impact Engine’s tools allow ad creators to review thousands of templates for ads and then plug in information about a particular advertiser.
