ApartmentFinder.com launches mobile app

Apartment Finder, an integrated media platform in the multi-family industry, recently launched a new application that provides listing access via IPhone and IPod touch. Now, apartment shoppers simply use their cell phone to map apartment listings nearby, e-mail or call properties directly for more information or availability, display promotional offers and more.

“This application is so simple and fun to use,” said Apartment Finder president Marcia Bollinger, in the announcement. “Today’s consumers want access to information quickly and easily. We deliver information about apartment communities online, on land, in their community and now, right in the palm of their hand. Our new iPhone App also delivers on our commitment to drive more leads, and the best value, for our advertisers. We’re literally pushing their listings in their prospects’ hands, right at their fingertips.”

All property listings featured on ApartmentFinder.com are available on the Apartment Finder iPhone App. The application, available as a free download from Apple’s online Application Store, offers searches by city, state or zip; advanced search by price, distance, number of bedrooms and baths, pet policy and other amenities. Apartment hunters can save notes and photos about properties, can e-mail property details including photo and link, and store history of the properties they view, their recent searches and the properties they save as their favorites. Photos and floor plans can be zoomed. Property managers can display special offers, which are viewable via smart phones, and users can e-mail or call the properties. There is a mapping and GPS function as well.

Apartment Finder is the anchor of the multi-family division of Network Communications, Inc., publisher of print and online housing information in North America. Apartment Finder publishes books in 116 markets across the U.S. and operates ApartmentFinder.com .
