Google Apps Marketplace, to sell your new applications

Google just unveiled a new online application store where developers of business software can reveal and offer their apps for sale.

According to the Silicon Valley / San Jose Business Journal, the new Google Apps Marketplace is starting out with applications from 50 companies. The fee to list apps in the marketplace is $100. While the developer sets her or his own fee for the product, Google takes home 20 percent of each sale.

Google claims 25 million users of Google Apps, representing more than 2 million businesses.
