Singapore Press Holdings offers social networking help
Singapore Press Holdings, owner of The Straits Times, has launched a new site giving help to businesses who want to build a social networking plan.
The web site, socialTRUE, will form part of SPH’s online marketing brand clickTRUE. SPH says it will give companies the “constant and active flow of conversation between their customers and the brand”.
With some 400 million people on Facebook participating in online conversations and activities on a daily basis, social media has become an imperative component in an online marketing strategy. In fact, conversations on-line have become the new ‘word-of-mouth’ advertising.” Jereme Wong, clickTRUE’s Chief Operating Officer said.
“Their social media pages often end up becoming another channel for traditional advertising instead of what it is supposed to be – cutting the layers of formalities so the customer can give feedback, get a response in the shortest time possible, have dynamic conversations and enjoy a more personal relationship with the brand.”
clickTRUE’s services have already been taken up by a number of established brands including Nikon, Canon and Panasonic.
You’ll find socialTRUE here.
