Figures from ComScore for the week ending  July 7  show Rightmove.co.uk edging into the top 10 U.K.  websites of all types. Although its page-view percentage of 0.69 percent is a long way behind giants such as Facebook (at No. 1 with 23.46 percent) and Google (No. 2 with 11.77 percent), it does put the property classifieds site ahead of such well-known media properties as the BBC Homepage (though not BBC news or sports) and Yahoo U.K.

The only other classifieds site to feature in the top 20 is Auto Trader in 14th position.

“To be amongst the top 10 Web domains in the U.K. is a notable achievement for us,” commented Rightmove.co.uk commercial director Miles Shipside.
