Idibu launches ApScreen to filter applicants
U.K. multiple job poster Idibu has launched its ApScreen application screening service for clients. It’s a well timed move given a recent report from the Associate of Graduate recruiters which reveals 69 graduates applying for every job (compared to 49 last year).
“Consultants are dealing with applicant noise overload as so many candidates apply for so few roles” explains Steve Walker, Idibu’s managing director. “We noted recently that Lidl received around 12,000 applications for just fifty graduate positions — ApScreen addresses this problem and is a natural evolution of our service offering. Idibu gets adverts to multiple destinations quickly and now ApScreen aids the filtering and organisation of the huge number of applications.”
Fittingly for a multiple poster, the key selling point of ApScreen is that applicants are screened across all and any sources whether that be job boards, company websites or and social networks so that the recruiter gets a clear and consistent database into of candidates to compare.
