RentRight.co.uk has redesigned and redesignated itself as a portal in its bid to be the market leader of letting in the U.K.

“RentRight.co.uk hopes to become the voice of the lettings industry, a market that is often an afterthought of the existing portals,” according to Gill Markham, the site’s head of operations.

When it launched in 2004 the site was content to be a lettings directory but corporate investment has enabled it to expand to include YouTube video, a photo carousel, Google Street View, and a Rental Property Index function giving real time data for rental prices across regions and types of property.

“Our site enables agents to use the Internet to its full potential incorporating maps, videos, photos, and social media as well as provide wide Internet coverage on some of the world’s most visited websites” explains Markham.
