This makes making eight countries where where Nestoria operates. It’s owned by Lokku, a U.K.-based technology company.
“Just like in the other seven markets we operate in, we aim to provide the easiest possible way to find property,” Ed Freyfogle, co-founder of the company, told us in an e-mail. “As you might expect given the diversity of the Indian subcontinent … we have a lot to learn from our partners and most of all from the users.”
The other Nestoria markets are Australia, Brazil, the U.K., Germany, Spain, France and Italy. It works on a straight referral business model, compiling listings from various participating sites and receiving revenue for traffic referrals.
Based in London, the company launched in 2006 and now employs about 15. It reports more than 2 million unique users per month.
