Here’s a high-level job that may be worth pursuing: Cars.com is looking for a VP of operations. Ten years of experience are required, with at least five years of experience in online or e-commerce operations and five years of people-management experience with “a proven track record in leading and driving desired results.”

The position is based in Chicago, at Classified Ventures’ headquarters. The ad says relocation is not covered, but it also says “false” under “manages others,” so we suspect they’d come up with the relo bucks for the right person.
