TweetMyJobs social recruiting survey

Twitter-based social job site TweetMyJobs.com just completed a survey of 2000 job seekers and 400 hiring managers. TMJ asked these folks about their participation in social media to find jobs or candidates. The final results became a video for the TweetMyJobs blog.

Here are some stats:

  • 50% of job seekers still spend most their time searching on traditional job boards
  • 29% of job seekers use social media as their primary tool for job searching – that’s amazing!
  • 45% of companies plan to invest more in Social Recruiting in 2012

Watch this TweetMyJob blog video by way of You Tube for all the survey results.
