Rainer Krösing took over as managing director of Berlin-based rental platform Erento.com from Oliver Weyergraf on 1 February. Weyergraf was managing director when Erento was acquired by VM Digital Group in the middle of last year.

According to VM Digital Weyergraf left to pursue other opportunities. Krösing will be supported in his management duties by Helmar Hipp, CEO of VM Digital Group. Krösing (below) held senior positions at Ebay.de, Mobile.de and Autorola.de, before he went to the now-defunct real estate portal Yoom.de as managing director.  

Erento operates in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, U.S., U.K., The Netherlands, Poland and Czech Republic. According to Hipp Erento is profitable.

Other platforms in the VM Digital Group portfolio include motorhomes portal Caraworld.de, horses portal Pferde.de, heavy machinery platform Mascus.de and Germany’s biggest free small ads platform Quoka.de.
