Joe Lichtenberger (40) accepted the job of chief financial officer (CFO) at the Scout24 Group, where he will be responsible for the divisions finances, accounting, law, controlling, purchasing and IT from March 1. The position has been vacant since July 2010, when the previous CFO Marc Antoine Sevray left the company, Scout24 said in a media statement.
Lichtenberger (photo) was headhunted from Kabel Deutschland, where he worked for the past seven years, most recently as director: business performance management.
Apparently, Scout24 CEO Martin Enderle hopes to draw on Lichtenberger’s international experience for strategy and portfolio development. Among the platforms in the Scout24 Group count AutoScout24, FinanceScout24, JobScout24, FriendScout24, ElectronicsScout24, TravelScout24, Jobs.de and ImmobilienScout24. They operate in 18 countries.
„At Kabel Deutschland Lichtenberger operated as interface between product management, operations and business intelligence,” said Scout24.
