New development: FSBO listings on newspaper Web sites

Adicio has launched a new alliance with FSBO search engine Fizber.com. The agreement means that Adicio’s 500+ client sites will be able to include Fizber’s two million home listings on their real estate sites.

The announcement is interesting to say the least: newspapers have generally shied away from including fore-sale-by-owner listings so as not to alienate their real estate advertisers. But in the increasingly downtrodden real estate market world, new approaches appear necessary.

The deal means that newspapers, broadcaster and media outlets in competitive markets can add thousands of listings in their local area to boost their Web inventory.

Adicio has been weathering the real estate storm and has actually increased the number of real estate clients using its software platform in the last year.
