Offline Supermedia mobile app first in US
SuperMedia, owner of Verizon SuperYellow Pages and Frontier SuperPages, is turning out a powerhouse of award-winning ideas and apps. Its latest, Quick Response (QR) code technology will allow any consumer with a smart phone to download its free SuperPages Mobile application.
With the new mobile app, a consumer will be able to view and search from her local Superpages home page, register for SuperMedia’s free SuperGuarantee(R) program and view online local coupons.

Android app for daily deals via Groupon
Social online coupon site Groupon has just announced that its IPhone app will now be joined by an app for Android mobile phones. If your Android phone is version 1.6 or later you can buy deals, access and redeem deals you’ve already purchased, view side deals and search for nearby coupons. Discussion forums and a daily deal widget are next on the Groupon mobile agenda.
