Zillow® Files Registration Statement for Proposed Initial Public Offering
SEATTLE, April 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Zillow, Inc., which operates real estate site Zillow.com®, Zillow Mortgage Marketplace, and Zillow Mobile, today announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed initial public offering of its common stock. Global real estate search via Realtor.com
Realtor.com has long been the top-visited U.S. real estate search site, as studied by Hitwise, expect for a few recent weeks when Yahoo Real Estate topped the charts. The Move, Inc. site of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) is now expanding its presence beyond the U.S., however, adding translation services and personalized views to its repertoire. This isn’t as curious a move as one might think – 575,000 online visitors to Realtor.com live outside the United States. Real estate vertical publishers would do well to look at the stats below, and update their products and approach to agent advertisers accordingly.
