Dominion relaunches lead gen site for auto dealers
AVV.com just relaunched, offering new and improved lead generation for auto dealers. An offshoot of Dominion Enterprises’ Dominion Dealer Solutions, AVV focuses on three dealer-assisting products: Web Control lead CRM, WebResponse for e-mail and WebTalk click to talk functionality. Auto vertical publishers would do well to compare their own auto vertical’s dealer services with what Dominion offers.
Auto dealers can link directly to WebControl via their sign in on the AVV home page, and manage their leads in Web Control. AVV.com and AVV Web Control are now linked. Product updates and company information can be accessed from the AVV site, blog or Facebook and Twitter integrations. Read the rest of this entry »

What women want from the Web, a Unicast report
Rich media and video ad management firm Unicast just released its June 2010 report, “What Women Want from the Web. [PDF]” The online survey of 516 adult females across the U.S. looked at the Internet activities of respondents, with regard to what they would be doing on the Web this summer, and where they would go to do it. Some of the results are eye-opening, and worthy of note for online publishers.
We learned, for example, that 32 percent of survey participants were planning to job hunt online this summer, and the largest group of these job candidates were women with children under age 13. The number one online activity was connecting with friends and family. Women with children ages 13-17 did this the most – with 83 percent participating. (Sounds like those mommy sites are audience-drivers. Does your media group have one, with classified listings – or prominent one-click access to your classified pages - that include job openings?) Adicio Motors gets a major overhaul
Adicio Inc. released a new version of its Motors platform with many new functions and features for dealers, private-party sellers and ad-publisher clients.
The new platform includes more pricing flexibility for Motors clients. Also new are Dealer Marketing Profiles that allow smaller and specialty auto dealers to create and maintain a Web presence with custom “search-engine friendly” URLs to help them manage their brands.
Private sellers have a new tool that helps them determine competitive prices. And Adicio can automatically enhance private and dealer listings with stock photos, info on standard features and technical specifications.
Also new: More video capability, more promotion capability, a new tool for bulk uploading listings, a new tool for uploading multiple photos — and the ability to create custom “hidden” products and packages to use as rewards to loyal dealer customers.
“Our latest release gives Adicio Motors clients a strong competitive advantage with tools and functionality that enable them to create distinct products and packages for small and specialty lot dealers, as well as for large-scale dealerships,” said Deep Menon, Adicio’s VP of products. “This creates additional opportunities for our clients to expand their reach and generate incremental online revenue.”
