AutoTrader.com’s Perry earns kudos from NIADA

Chip Perry, President, CEO and first employee of AutoTrader.com, was honored by the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association at NIADA's annual convention in Orlando June 23-27. The 2009 Ring of Honor recognition is the allied industry's highest for an individual.

"Chip Perry is truly a friend of our association and its members," said Michael Linn, NIADA CEO, in giving the award. A pioneer in the automotive industry, Perry's AutoTrader career began after leaving his Los Angeles Times Vice Presidency in 1997.
