Shakeup at Tribune Interactive
Posted by Joe Michaud on 09/03 at 07:23 AM
Sources tell us Tribune Interactive is getting shaken up under new chief Marc Chase.
In effect, control of Tribune properties' interactive strategies is shifting from local to central, under T.I.
Part of the realignment involves elimination of the "general manager, interactive" positions at Tribune's local properties, which reported to the local publisher. Local publishers will now have dotted-line relationships to the interactive staffs in their markets.
The memo below, distributed yesterday, outlines some of the moves in the content area. Sales and revenue programs presumably will be outlined next.
