Online automotive price quotes have become a key part of the car buying process. A new startup, VirtualAutoBuying.com, has added a new twist to the process.

Frustrated that in order to receive a quote, the shopper has to provide his or her contact information, VirtualAutoBuying.com allows users to create a free account with an anonymous e-mail address. The request for a quote returns results from local dealers which the buyer can see. The buyer looks for the best deal and can even submit a counter offer all while remaining anonymous. Once the buyer has his or her desired numbers, the buyer can print the quote and take it in to the dealership.
