U.K. property search engine Globrix to go global
UK based property search engine Globrix.com is heading to the U.S. …. and beyond. The company’s CTO, Ian Parry, last month said the company would attack the U.S. market in early 2009. Now, according to a report from Global Edge, the company has updated its plans and says that it will first expand to countries “closer to home” with the U.S. only “3rd or 4th on the list,” according to founder Daniel Lee.
No announcement yet about which countries will be first, but Global Edge reports that the company is in “advanced stages of development in several countries and is in discussions with potential partners in many others.” Given that Globrix has built-in translation software, hot property markets in Spain, France and Italy may be on the radar first.
