- 51 percent of workers have been hired through a friend’s referral – Of those who use social networks in their job search, LinkedIn is the most effective (54 percent), followed by Facebook (22 percent) – 82 percent of job seekers would rather find a lower-paying job they love than a higher-paying job they don’t like – 41 percent of parents would prefer to work full-time, even if money and childcare were not issues – 18 percent of new graduates have a job lined up upon graduation
