The Portuguese car magazine Turbo, owned by the major publisher Impresa S.A., has finished a complete redesign of its site, www.aeiou.turbo.pt.

New features include a multimedia channel with videos coming from the television program “TV Turbo,” a weekly broadcast on the news TV channel SIC Notícias. The site has new interactive features and new services, including a new classified-ads area for individuals and car dealers. So far, about 2,000 listings are placed.

Other new features include automotive security, gadgets, bulletin boards, blogs and legal advice. Editor Luis Cáceres Monteiro said the objective of this relaunch is to “obtain over 1 million page views per month.” In June, Turbo.pt had slightly more than 320,000 page views, according to the Marktest rankings.

Portugal’s leading automotive Web site is the online version of the magazine Auto Hoje published by Motorpress Portugal, with more than 5 million page views in June. This is the third revamp of the Turbo Web site since its 2001 launch.
