Web classifieds vendor Adicio has been busy, making a number of announcements in August. The highlights:

— The company has rolled out a new product that allows real estate clients to create “products and packages” that can be sold via e-commerce or used for specific advertiser accounts. A package can include a group of listings or upgrades offered for one price, or a combination of listings and upgrades (such as 10 listings, 5 featured upgrades and 5 open house upgrades for one price). Packages can be placed on an ad-posting page, in a media kit or on a special packages page.

— Adicio reports that the number of real estate Web sites powered by its software has grown 138 percent vs. a year ago. Some of the clients Adicio has added in the last year: Swift Communications, Sound Publishing, News Corp., Black Press, Raycom Media, and The Day Publishing. Other partnerships include RealtyTrac for foreclosure listings, OnBoard for detailed community information, Adfare and DMC for video listings, and Vacapedia for vacation rentals.

— On the automotive side, Adicio launched an enhancement to its PowerLeads program called PowerLeads Buy. It allows Adicio clients to purchase additional leads for their automotive dealers. ensuring that dealers always receive a minimum number of leads. Another program, called PowerLeads Sell, allows automotive sites to – no surprises here – sell their leads.

— Adicio pointed out that its alliance with Monster has reached the one year milestone. Adicio supports 125 newspapers on behalf of Monster which allows clients in Adicio’s national network to bundle upsell opportunities to Monster.
