Newspaper circ continues to fall, LA Times to lay off 75

Circulation figures for newspapers continue to slide. The latest numbers for the six months ending Sept. 30, compiled by the Audit Bureau of Circulations, are pretty grim.

Some lowlights:

— The Chicago Sun-Times was down 3.94 percent but not as bad as The Chicago Tribune which dropped 7.75 percent.
