Say goodbye to Homescape and hello to HomeFinder.com. That’s the new name for Classified Ventures’ real estate search site. The change went into effect this morning.
The change is meant to more clearly reflect what the Web site is about. “We embarked on an extensive brand exploration journey that included both consumer and advertiser focus groups,” said Tim Fagan, president of Classified Ventures’ Real Estate Division.
The rebrand comes with a new logo and an updated look and feel across the HomeFinder.com site.
HomeFinder.com has some 15,000 advertisers nationwide and a network of more than 130 online newspapers. There are 3.2 million property listings on the site.
The new HomeFinder.com is a division of Chicago-based Classified Ventures, LLC, a strategic joint venture owned by AH Belo Corp, Gannett Co., Inc., The McClatchy Company, Tribune Company and The Washington Post Company.
