Amazon Kindle books now for iPhone too

Amazon appears to be hedging its eBook bets. Amazon released its Kindle book reading software in late 2007 to great fanfare (at least on the home page). The device has sold well – up to 500,000 units according to some analysts – and it appeared Amazon was aiming for an iPod-like play to become an ubiquitous device for reading digital books.
