Our friends over at Cheezhead, a popular recruitment blog, have launched a new bi-monthly video broadcast. Dubbed “The Slice,” the video series highlights top news in a fast moving 3-4 minute video format.

It’s a nice idea for professionals who prefer their new news in visual format. But the infrequent broadcast schedule suggests it’s more of a fun gimmick than a serious information source.

The launch video can be found on YouTube, Facebook, in iTunes, and of course on the Cheezhead site.
