Mascus, the Pan-European marketplace for used machinery and trucks, is expanding heavily – not only in Europe. In the last couple of months new offices have been opened in Canada, South Africa, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Greece and Ukraine.
“We are constantly working on gaining new offices around the world, and justifying our position as one of the market leaders in the heavy machinery and transportation classified business. Nowadays more and more people know the name Mascus, as we are currently present in 26 countries altogether, and have customers all over the world.” says Fredrik Larsson, Mascus’ Managing Director, in a press release.
In March the company signed a number of franchise agreements with companies around the globe. Franchise partner in Australia and New Zealand is Bold Run Pty Limited, an Australian investment company working primarily with Internet products. The Slovakian partner is Centrum Holdings, a Net media company owned by American equity firm Warburg Pincus. Le Monde de l´Automobile is the majority owner of the company that will run Mascus France.
Mascus is a trading company of Alma Media Corporation.
