A flurry of announcements over the weekend from recruitment platform provider Standout Jobs.

The service, which lets companies create their own recruitment micro-sites, has added a new chat feature that can schedule individual and group chats. Different recruiters can join the chat to speak with job seekers and candidates (Standout Jobs describes it as a simple online career fair). A nice touch: the system automatically sends out a Twitter tweet letting followers know that a chat has gone live.

Speaking of Twitter, tweets can now be integrated into a company’s micro-site. And all jobs moving through Standout Jobs itself are automatically posted to Twitter.

Additionally, a new People widget allows companies to easily publicize who their recruiters are along with contact information. Links to start chatting are included in these profiles.

The company also added a new customer: Quantum Corporation, joining Polk, Ericsson and others.
