Recruiting media company Career TV has scored its first national TV syndication deal with the Fox Business News cable channel.

Philadelphia-based Career TV produces a monthly half-hour Web series for 18- to-25-year-old job seekers, which streams online at and is carried on about 400 college campus networks nationwide.

Traffic to the site has increased dramatically, going from 300,000 unique monthly visitors to over 1.3 million in less than a year.

Distribution on Fox Business is expected to help Career TV reach a nationwide audience of 44 million, according to Sean O’Grady, a senior producer at Career TV who will anchor the show. The Saturday afternoon show will debut on Fox in early April.

Career TV is subsidiary of Universum Inc., a Swedish-based international marketing company–also works with clients like CBS Interactive on an individual basis to produce and distribute local recruitment videos.
