It seems like every other day a new Twitter-like service launches. We’ve already reported on TwitterJobSearch.com for job seekers and TweetCruit for HR recruiters.

Now comes TribeHQ which is a standalone micro-messaging platform that allows members within the same occupational “tribe” (e.g., nurses, teachers, engineers, IT professionals) to converse with each other and with employers about job opportunities.

TribeHQ says that its members can form alliances, share ideas and knowledge, and get close to the “tribal buzz” in their profession. In these challenging economic times, anything can help, we’d say.

TribeHQ uses job-matching algorithms to align tribe members seeking a new job with opportunities that meet their career preferences. Members can ask employers job questions directly. On the other side, employers can tap directly into a targeted audience.

TribeHQ even has a nickname for the service: “Micro-Jobbing.”
