EBay buying South Korea’s Gmarket

EBay said it will buy South Korea’s largest online marketplace, Gmarket.

EBay said it made a cash offer of $24 per share for Gmarket Inc. If all outstanding shares are tendered, the full purchase price would be about $1.2 billion.
