Burl Osborne named Freedom interim CEO

Burl Osborne, former publisher of A.H. Belo Corp.'s Dallas Morning News and ex-chairman of the Associated Press, was named interim CEO of Freedom Communications Inc. on Wednesday. He takes over in July for Scott Flanders, who is leaving to lead Playboy Enterprises Inc.

Sharon Hill

Sharon Hill has been a senior writer / analyst with the AIM Group since 2004, except for a two-year time-out to serve as sales and marketing manager for Suburban Newspapers of America.
