What to do when you’re unemployed: CareerBuilder survey

Unemployed? Hang out with your friends. Or fix up your home. That’s what a new CareerBuilder survey says most unemployed workers are doing in between job searches.

CareerBuilder polled more than 1,800 people for the survey. Here are the results:

• 22 percent are spending more time with family and friends
• 15 percent are fixing up their homes
