While not as significantly in June as in May,  and not anywhere close to the numbers for June 2008, job openings in the United States for C-level, VP, Director and Managerial candidates have increased. The CareerCast.com/Job Serf Employment Index reported a rise of 15.2 points in May, and another 3.8 points in June.

“It’s very promising that the demand for managers and executives has risen two months in a row,” said Tony Lee, publisher, CareerCast.com, in the announcement. “White collar candidates who visited job boards in June saw more opportunities than they’ve seen in quite some time, which is a great sign.” CareerCast.com has all the report details.
