NAA reports huge decrease in newspaper classifieds

Even the Newspaper Association of America (NAA) could not put a happy spin on its latest newspaper classified statistics, in which not only print but online advertising has decreased considerably.

Here are the year-over-year statistics:

  • Print advertising is down slightly more than 30 percent
  • Online advertising is down nearly 16 percent
