Google announces DoubleClick AdExchange

Google today announced the new DoubleClick Ad Exchange, which it hopes will do for online display advertising what AdSense and AdWords have done for text ads and search advertising.

Google's overview of the Ad Exchange describes it as a sort of stock exchange that brings together sellers -- publishers who have display advertising inventory available -- and buyers -- ad agen
