I love to follow the ideas generated by gaming companies. It's a great demographic for publishers and broadcasters. These gamers are devoted, avidly community-minded, and they spend money. Following what works for gaming sites means learning what a fairly-affluent, immensely loyal and wide demographic of savvy Web users want from their social sites.

Sharon Hill has been a senior writer / analyst with the AIM Group since 2004, except for a two-year time-out to serve as sales and marketing manager for Suburban Newspapers of America.
