McClatchy reports third quarters earnings

McClatchy Company just announced its Q3 2009 earnings, in which both revenues and expenses declined year over year, but circulation jumped.

Revenues in the third quarter of 2009 were $347.4 million, down 23.1 percent year over year.  Advertising revenues were $266.1 million, down 28.1 percent from 2008, and circulation revenues were $69 million, an increase of 6.7 percent.  Onl
