The big rival Idealista has it already. Now Pisos.com, Vocentos’ property-classifieds site, has launched a news channel to track Spain’s real estate industry at noticias.pisos.com. The news channel includes blogs, RSS feeds, market reports, features and news about the Euribor, the Euro Interbank Offered Rate, the daily reference based on the averaged interest rates for the interbank market…

“We have been working several months in the creation of a space, for that we hope, that it will become an information point of reference for the sector,” said Pisos.com CEO Miguel Ángel Alemany. He said he envisions the news channel will tap the pulse of the real estate market as well as serve as a platform for connecting real estate professionals and consumers.

Vocentos repurposes local news from its national media outlets, ABC and Qué, and its 14 regional newspapers. Pisos’ news channel also publishes expert-opinion columns, interviews, analyses, surveys and monthly pricing reports.

Pisos.com says it has tripled audience since January, to 700,000 unique users a month. That would place it No. 3 in the Spanish market, behind Fotocasa (2.3 million users) from Schibsted´s Spanish subsidiary Anuntis and No. 1 independently owned Idealista (2.5 million users).
