Monster opens SC call center

Monster recently opened a new 75,000 square foot call center in Florence, SC, with more than 90 percent of its 150 employees hired locally. Eventually as many as 350 will work there, as part of Monster’s effort to centralize North American customer support. Florence County suffers from unemployment of nearly 12 percent.

Sharon Hill

Sharon Hill has been a senior writer / analyst with the AIM Group since 2004, except for a two-year time-out to serve as sales and marketing manager for Suburban Newspapers of America.
