Microsoft might pay News Corp, others, to block Google indexing

Microsoft, owner of the new Bing search engine, and News Corp. are reportedly in discussions about Microsoft paying the media publisher for disallowing Google indexing of its publications’ online pages. Calling it a “search engine battle that could offer a ray of light to the newspaper industry,”
