Digital research and measurement firm ComScore, Inc. just announced Chris Nicotra as its new Chief Technology Officer. Nicotra will oversee software engineering, data application engineering, and infrastructure technology teams. He assumes the role upon the promotion of CTO Greg Dale to COO. 

Nicotra comes to ComScore from AoL, where he was SVP of AoL Advertising Technology and CTO/CIO for, oversaw the platform migration of AOL’s premium advertising business from DoubleClick to AdTech, and developed AOL’s media planning system and first self-service platform.

“Chris has a reputation as an outstanding technology leader and we’re excited to welcome him as part of the comScore management team,” said Greg Dale, ComScore COO, in the announcement. “Chris’s extensive experience building large scale networks based on real-time data will be instrumental to the development of comScore’s next generation of products based on our proprietary panel-centric hybrid methodology.”
