TV advertising revenue is definitely up at E.W. Scripps, with local ad dollars up 12 percent year over year in the first quarter of 2010, and national up 10 percent. Automotive advertising leaped 65 percent in Q110.

Scripps' newspaper division didn't fare nearly as well, however, with ad revenue as a whole down 12 percent for the quarter and 20 percent for the year. Classifieds declined
